- To Heidi, design begins with empathy and humility; made real through collaborative team work and iterative making. She approaches her work with an attitude of commitment and transparency. Heidi's strength is in translating ideas into tangible and actionable service and communication tools. As such, her contribution to Cooler lies closely within the realm of organizational and service design. Heidi graduated from OCAD University where her thesis looked at the impact of secondhand clothes on the local and global economy. She is most excited when collaborating on design projects that address community and social development issues that result in holistic changes within individuals and communities.
